The Lock-In Amplifier SR830 is used to detect and measure very small AC signals, up to several nanovolts. Accurate signal measurements can be made even if there is a thousand times more noise. Synchronous amplifiers use a technique known as phase-sensitive detection of signal components at a specific reference frequency and phase.
