Quantachrome NOVA 1200 Surface Area Analyzer
The Quantachrome NOVA 1200 performs rapid and accurate sorption measurements of a gas on particle surfaces using an appropriate coolant. The surface area of the particulate media can be measured using this principle. Prior to gas adsorption, the powder sample is degassed and dried in a vacuum at elevated temperatures. Measurements made by this instrument include multipoint Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method surface area, single point BET surface area, 25 point adsorption isotherms, 25 point desorption isotherms, total pore volume, average pore radius, and BJH pore size distribution based on the adsorption or desorption isotherm.
