The problem of the development of new methods of diagnosis and therapy of socially significant diseases is currently highly topical, as evidenced by the statistics of morbidity and mortality in the population of the Russian Federation. One of the most promising implements to solve this problem is to develop new methods of early non-invasive, minimally invasive, and intraoperative diagnosis and therapy methods of socially significant diseases of the human body using terahertz (THz) and infrared (IR) radiation. The purpose of this project is the organization of international scientific laboratory and execution on its base of scientific research to develop new methods of minimally invasive, non-invasive and intraoperative diagnosis and therapy methods of the human body of socially significant diseases with the use of terahertz and infrared electromagnetic radiation. During the execution of experimentally theoretical investigation it will be developed the 4 following scientific directions:
A. Development of methods of THz IR diagnosis and therapy of cerebral ischemia;
B. Development of methods of THz small- and non-invasive diagnosis of diabetes;
C. Development of new methods of THz early non-invasive and intraoperative diagnosis of malignant growth.
D. Development of methods for THz-IR therapy for tissue regeneration.
