The UV-3600 spectrophotometer (Shimadzu)

The UV-3600 spectrophotometer (Shimadzu), equipped with an integrating sphere, is designed for measuring the optical density of samples in the spectral range from 200 nm to 3 µm. The UV-3600 combines high sensitivity and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The automated monochromator/spectrograph M266 (SOLAR Laser System) is a light-efficient device with low levels of scattered light, which can be used as a monochromator and/or a spectrograph with a flat field. Two automatically switchable output ports allow connecting either an output slit/detector or two detectors simultaneously to the M266. The M266 features automatic switching of diffraction gratings, order separation filters, adjustment of slit widths, and selection of the detector port. The software enables organizing automatic operation of the system with multiple scans and switching of gratings and filters in the selected spectral range, followed by demonstration, mathematical processing, printing, and saving of the acquired panoramic spectrum for further analysis.
