Person Profile

Ivan Borisov -- PhD, Executive Director of the Sber Robotics Lab, Professor of Practice at ITMO University, researcher at the Laboratory of Biomechatronics and Energy-Efficient Robotics.

From 2014 to 2017, I worked in different industries. This included creating a historical layout of St. Petersburg, designing gripping devices for car assembly plants, developing robotic complexes for automating welding operations, bending metal sheets, and moving objects.

From 2017 to June 2023, I worked at ITMO University as the main place. In 2019, I successfully defended my thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the field of robotics. I do research оn morphological design, computational and interactive design, and generative design of dynamic systems. I have authored numerous publications, but I would like to draw particular attentiоn to my four articles presented at the highly esteemed IEEE International Conference оn Intelligent Robots and Systems (SJR 1.12) and two articles published at the renowned IEEE International Conference оn Robotics and Automatiоn (SJR 1.92).

Since July 2023, I have joined the team of the Sber Robotics Lab. I can't wait to tell you about our project!
